What motivates you to do your best on the job?

Do not discuss salary, benefits, or other compensation-related motivations.
Do not talk about your need for constant supervision or your inability to stay motivated for any significant period of time at work. Keep your answers short and business related.
This is a personal trait that only you can say, but good examples are: Challenge, Achievement, and Recognition. For any person motivation is the main factor which should make him work in an efficient manner.

First of all I am a workaholic and I cannot sit idle. So the motivation to do the best work comes to me naturally. But if asked what actually motivates me then I would say it’s the Satisfaction that I get after a whole day of work that keeps me going.

I was responsible for several projects where I directed development teams and implemented repeatable processes. The teams achieved 100% on-time delivery of software products. I was motivated both by the challenge of finishing the projects ahead of schedule and by managing the teams that achieved our goals.
