If you plant your garden rows far enough apart and make your tunnels portable you can put the tunnels in your garden and the chickens will keep the bugs and weeds down. If you put chicken wire on the bottoms of your tunnels you can put them on the lawn - the bottoms will keep them from digging up the grass but will let them eat the bugs & grubs.
