• If you failed to modify your resume as per the specific requirements of the job application: When you have enough skills required for the job application and job description and when you are not furnished all those skills which you have already in your resume, will be a sin of your resume. Those required skills must be added in your resume as a top priority.
• If your contact information is incomplete without adding professional email Id: A professional email Id contains first and last name of the candidate and unprofessional mail Id contains cute names. When an applicant adds a professional email id in resume, may create great look to resume. When you have common name, then add some numbers to the mail Id before or after and create a professional mail ID. Avoid the numbers 1 and 0 and sometimes they looks like letters in some fonts.
• If you lied or apologized for mentioned over qualifications: Project your abilities in your resume and it should grab the attention of employers. Be confident while furnishing the details in your resume. If you don’t have confidence on your strengths, how can an employer believe you? So, be honest and be tried to project your best core competencies.
• If your resume was sent without proofreading: If you do any last minute changes in your resume may affect your entire resume page setting. If you add one word or one sentence may change the entire structure of resume. Maintain the same flow in your resume and take care while doing corrections. Maintain the same flow throughout the resume. Suppose, if you corrected the spell mistake of a word at one place and keeping the same in other page of a resume may create a negative impact.
• If you don’t sent the resume out: Keep track of your resume and send your resume in time. Until and unless, if you don’t send your resume, you will not get interview calls.
