இந்த சேவையின் மூலம் 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு காணாமல் போன வாகனத்தை போலீஸார் மிக அளிதாக மீட்க முடிந்திருக்கிறது. 38 லட்சம் ஆவணங்கள் கணினிமயம் காவல்துறை நவீனமயமாக்கல் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நாடு முழுவதிலும், குற்றம் மற்றும் குற்றவாளிகள் கண்காணிப்பு வலைத்தளத் திட்டம் (சிசிடிஎன்எஸ்), அனைத்து மாநில காவல்துறைகளிலும் அமல்படுத்தப்பட்டுவருகிறது. இதன்படி, குற்றங்கள் மற்றும் குற்றவாளிகளின் தகவல்கள், காணாமல் போனவர்கள் மற்றும் அடையாளம் தெரியாத சடலங்கள் போன்ற தகவல்கள் கணினிமூலம் தொகுக்கப்படுகின்றன.
தமிழகத்தில் 2003-ம் ஆண்டு முதல் பதிவான அனைத்து வழக்குகள், பெறப்பட்ட புகார்களைப் பதியும் பணி கடந்த ஆண்டு மார்ச் மாதத்தில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. அதில் இதுவரை 38 லட்சம் வழக்கு ஆவணங்கள் பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன.
மாநிலத்தின் ஏதோ ஒரு மூலையில் உள்ள காவல்நிலைய கணினியில் பதிவுசெய்யப்படும் எந்த வகையான புகாரையும், வேறிடத்தில் உள்ள காவல்நிலையத்தவரும், உயரதிகாரிகளும் பார்க்கும் வகையில் அனைத்து காவல்நிலையங்களும் வலைப்பின்னலால் ஒருங்கிணைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனய இந்த வசதியால் பல்வேறு வழக்குகள் விரைவாக முடிக்கப்படும் நிலை உருவாகியுள்ளது. குறிப்பாக, வாகனத்திருட்டு வழக்குகளுக்கு வெகு வேகமாக தீர்வு கிடைப்பதும் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
இது குறித்து மாநில குற்ற ஆவணக் காப்பக வட்டாரங்கள் கூறியதாவது:- 10 ஆண்டுக்கு முன் இறந்தவரின் சிசிடிஎன்எஸ் திட்டத்தில் வாகனத் திருட்டு வழக்குகள் வெகு விரைவாக கண்டறியப்படுகின்றன.
பல ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு காணாமல் போன நூற்றுக்கணக்கான வாகனங்கள் இச்சேவையின் மூலம் கண்டறியப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஒரே நாளில் 14 வாகன வழக்குகளுக்கு தீர்வு காணப்பட்ட சம்பவங்களும் நடந்துள்ளது.
கடந்த 2004-ம் ஆண்டில் காணாமல்போன ஒரு இருசக்கர வாகனத்தினை 10 ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து போலீஸார் சமீபத்தில் சிசிடிஎன்எஸ் வசதி மூலம் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர். புதுக்கோட்டையில் வாகனவிபத்தில் உயிரிழந்த ஒருவரின் வாகனம் (டிஎன்63ஒய் 7481) அது. சமீபத்தில் மதுரையில் கருப்பாயூரணி போலீஸார் வாகனச் சோதனை நடத்தியபோது அது திருட்டு வாகனம் எனத் தெரியவந்தது. அந்த வாகனத்தின் எஞ்சின், சேஸிஸ் எண்களை சிசிடிஎன்எஸ் வசதி மூலம் சரிபார்த்தபோது, உண்மை தெரியவந்தது.
சிசிடிஎன்எஸ்-ல் பொதுமக்கள் பல்வேறு சேவைகளை ஆன்லைன் (eservices.tnpolice.gov.in) வழியாகவே பெறமுடியும். அந்த இணையதளத்தில் பொதுமக்கள், தங்களது எல்லாவிதமான புகார்களைப் பதிவு செய்யலாம். அவர்களுக்கு உடனடியாக ஒரு ரகசிய ஒப்புகை எண் வழங்கப்படும். அதற்கடுத்த ஓரிரு தினங்களுக்குள் அவர்களுக்கு அது தொடர்பான பதில் இமெயலிலோ, செல்போன் மூலமாகவோ அந்தந்த காவல்நிலையத்தில் இருந்து அனுப்பப்படும். தங்களது புகார் எந்த நிலையில் இருக்கிறது என்பதையும் அவ்வப்போது அவர்கள் பார்த்துத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளமுடியும்.
பழைய இரு சக்கர வாகனங்களையோ, செல்போன்களையோ வாங்குவதற்கு முன்பு பொதுமக்கள், இந்த இணையதளத்தில், அதற்கான பிரத்யேக வசதி (check before buying) செய்யப்பட்டுள்ள இடத்தில், வாகனப்பதிவெண், எஞ்சின் எண் மற்றும் செல்போனில் உள்ள 15 இலக்க ஐஎம்இஐ எண்-ஐ பதிவு செய்தால், அவை காணாமல் போனதாக வேறெந்த காவல்நிலையத்தில் புகார் பெறப்பட்டிருந்தால், அது திருட்டுப் பொருள் (stolen) என்பதைக் கண்டறியமுடியும்.

TN Police Complaint Registration Online
This facility describes about how to register complaint & FIR and to check the status of FIR. Report received at the police station regarding any offense is called is called First Information Report, popularly known as FIR. On receipt of this information police registers the report in a FIR Register and begins the investigation of the crime.
If your complaint does not disclose any offence or your complaint discloses only non-cognizable offence, then FIR cannot be registered.
In such cases where only non-cognizable offence is made out, Police officer will enter the substance of information in the general diary of Police Station and give copy of same to complainant.
Another copy of complaint is sent to the concerned judicial magistrate for further action. Police does not have powers to investigate a non-cognizable offence without the orders of the magistrate.
