• Your resume objective must be very fancy: Have a very fancy and attractive objective for your resume and it should reflect in your career goal. The objective sentence should be very simple, precise and ambitious and should be like a win-win situation for your profile. The objective line should target one single job. If you are applying for different jobs in multiple domains, then change your resume as per that.
• Use exact and matching keywords in your resume: Identify the words that matching your skillset. Many employers and recruiters glance through the resumes to match keywords and some employers use computers to tally the keywords matching.
• Make it more attractive with right font sizes, fonts and design: Take professional help, if you are not able to decide yourself to craft your resume. The idea behind this is making reader to grab the attention of the recruiter. Otherwise your resume may not succeed in grabbing the attention of employers.
• Start submitting your resume in multiple job portals: Once you complete registration with multiple job portals and then start applying for jobs. Many recruiters take only few seconds time to go through your resume. • Update your resume: Updating your resume on regular basis will help you to catch employer’s eye. You can update in multiple areas like the trainings, achievements and accomplishments any if you have received. If you don’t have any updates to do in your resume, just log on to your account and do minor changes and make update it. So that, your resume will not be stagnant for long years and it will show as recently updated.
• Do follow up when you are applied for a job: Once you have completed changes in your CV and started applying for jobs, always make a follow-up call to the prospective employer. Find out the details of the hiring manager of applied company, before sending your resume.
• List out the employers for further follow up: Once you started applying for jobs, then list out the employers to whom your resume was sent. Do follow up to know whether your resume got shortlisted or not?
